Compilation and Collections  
 
Collections comprise a set of printed documents (printed version) or the documents as electronic archives (electronic version), where each product archive contains the protected access part of a document as an encrypted PDF file that needs the Acrobat reader. Access rights need to be installed to access the protected document.
 
Collections are supplied as automatic online install versions (access rights can only be installed when the document is opened while the user is online - preferred) and as manual offline install versions (the user can be offline to install the access rights).
 
Electronic versions of Collection are supplied as:
- Business Edition: access rights need to be purchased for each protected document;
- Enterprise Edition: a single access right installs every protected document;
- Special Edition: protected documents are watermarked for exclusive use under licence by an organization for one year.
