FIDIC BIMS (BUSINESS INTEGRITY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM) SURVEY 2007 Complete and return to fidic@fidic.org, fax: +41-(0)22-799 49 01, by 15 August 2007. Further information: http://www.fidic.org/bims07 .............................. The FIDIC 2007 survey (see http://www.fidic.org/bim05/) on the implementation in the consulting industry of a FIDIC Business Integrity Management System (BIMSŪ, see http://www.fidic.org/bims) confirmed that many firms of all sizes and in most countries had implemented a BIMS or were considering to do so. The results ensured that the multilateral development banks, other international agencies and most clients were under increased pressure to recognize efforts by firms to stamp out corruption.   In order to maintain the initiative, it is important that FIDIC continues to survey the uptake of BIMS. All consulting firms are being asked once again by their national FIDIC Member Associations to indicate if they have implemented a BIMS or are considering do so. Some firms will have already responded to the 2005 survey. They are asked to respond once more to confirm that its BIMS is being maintained. Results, updated daily at http://www.fidic.org/bims07, will be finalised and reported at the FIDIC 2007 Singapore Conference, 9-13 September, http://www.fidic2007.org. All respondents will be sent the final report. Felipe Ochoa, Chair, FIDIC Integrity Management Task Force. ............................ FIDIC BIMS SURVEY 2007 1.
