The ASPAC chairman is calling the ASPAC General Meeting from 9:00 am to 11:00 am on 2 September 2001 in Montreux, Switzerland during the FIDIC 2001 Conference. This meeting would practically be a first launch for a new ASPAC framework after Mr. Dick Kell, President-elect of FIDIC from ACEA, handed over the baton of chairmanship to Mr. Yumio Ishii of AJCE President last year. There is expected to be wide range of discussions to enhance the regional activities of the CE industry through cooperation among ASPAC countries. The tentative agenda is as follows:

Luncheon meeting will be held on September 3 if further discussions need to go on. Final program of the meeting will be informed by email to each of the ASPAC MAs and become available on the FIDIC website as soon as it is decided in detail. Any comments are appreciated with posting them to secretariat. All delegates are kindly asked to attend both FIDIC 2001 and ASPAC General Meeting in Montreux, Switzerland.
