FIDIC associations in the Asia-Pacific region are grouped together in ASPAC.
The ASPAC Secreatariat is based at the AJCE-Japan. The ASPAC Executive
Committee, elected each year at a general assembly, holds regular meetings
to coordinate activities, including the annual FIDIC ASPAC Regional
Conference. |

| The FIDIC ASPAC-TCDPAP 2008 Regional Consulting Engineering Conference
takes place on 22-25 April 2008 in

| AsDB |
A FIDIC delegation, including the ASPAC Chair or
representative and led by the FIDIC President aims to visit the Asian
Development Bank (AsDB) each year. The last meeting was in March 2007: visit
report PDF. The next
meeting is in March 2008.
FIDIC is currently organizing a Contracts training courses for AsDB Resident Mission staff
(eight
countries in 2007 programme). The 2008 programme will involve two to
three day training courses in the following countries.
- 13-15 February 2008; Sri Lanka Resident Mission (confirmed)
- 19-21 February 2008; Nepal Resident Mission (confirmed)
- 25-27 February 2008; Laos PDR Resident Mission
- 26-28 March 2008; Suva (Fiji) Resident Mission

- 22-24 April 2008; Uzbekistan Resident Mission
