FIDIC Young Participants Reduction

The FIDIC 2000 Conference offers an additional inducement for young participants. All participants who are 45 years of age, or younger, on the opening day of the Conference are offered a reduced registration fee for the full conference. The fee will be $665 instead of  $950 (before 1 July 2000) and $815 instead of $1100 (after 1 July 2000). To obtain this special offer, please complete and return a Conference Pre-reservation Form accompanied by a copy of a document giving proof of age.

For additional registrations from the same firm pay, the fee will be $800 instead of  $950 (before 1 July 2000) and $950 instead of $1000 (after 1 July 2000). To obtain this special offer, please complete and return a Conference Pre-reservation Form for each participant and send them together.

LDC Reduction

FIDIC allows a reduction in the annual conference fees to be paid by three participants per Member Association in Less Developed Countries (LDCs). This reduction ranges from 20% to a maximum of 50%, and applies to 28 Member Associations, as detailed .

To obtain the FIDIC LDC fee reduction:

• The participants should complete and return a Conference Pre-reservation Form, specifying participation as a FIDIC LDC Participant.

• T he national Member Association notifies FIDIC that the participant qualifies for the LDC reduction (the participant must therefore contact his or her national Member Association).

• The organizers then invoice or charge the participant for the reduced registration fee.

FIDIC LDC Fee Reductions

The percentage reductions that will apply to the LDC registration fee of $950 (before 1 July 2000) and $1100 (after 1 July 2000).
