  • Mini Circle Island Tour (13.00 - 16.45; from hotel). Tour Honolulu's downtown area and see lolani Palace, the only palace on American soil, and the famous King Kamehameha statue. Continue through Nuuarm Valley and view the famous Pali cliffs, where King Kamehameha conquered the Island of Oalm. Then proceed through the historic Waimanalo community to the cast, ern coastline of Oahu. View the famous Makapuu and Sandy beaches, which are known for their great surfing. Stop by the Blow Hole, a spectacular natural saltwater geyser. Drive through the plush residential district of Kahala and around Diamond Head on your way back to Waikiki.

TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 11
  • Battleship Missouri and USS Arizona Memorial Excursion (07.30 - 12.30; depart hotel) .Travel back in time to December 7, 1941. Relive that fateful day through displays and presentations. View a short film on events surrounding the attack on Pearl Harbor. Then board the USS Arizona Memorial, where over 1,000 servicemen still lay entombed beneath the waves. After your visit to the Memorial, climb aboard the Battleship Missouri for a peck back into America's history. The "Mighty Mo" was the last battleship built by the U.S. Navy, and its most celebrated. On her decks, the documents ending World War II were signed, bringing a new era of friendship and cooperation across the Pacific. Located on Pearl Harbor's historic Battleship Row, the Missouri is a living museum with educational, interactive exhibits and activities.

  • Secret Gardens of Oahu Tour (09.00 - 12.30; depart hotel). Experience breathtaking views, magnificent architecture, and fabulous flora while partaking in this tour of some of Honolulu's most splendid private homes and gardens. Discover how elegantly landscaped gardens play an essential role in the Hawaiian lifestyle, while enhancing the beauty and elegance of the architecture. Feel the Aloha Spirit come to life as the actual homeowners, along with Honolulu Garden Club members, guide you through private estates and serene gardens. Expect to see some of the loveliest homes on Oahu with lush tropical valleys, sweeping ocean vistas, and picturesque beaches.   • East Meets West - A Culinary Adventure (10.15 - 14.45; depart hotel). Spend the day with Chef Glenn Chu, one of Honolulu's great chefs, at his awardwinning restaurant Indigo. Upon arrival, sample some of Glenn's Eurasian Cuisine, explore an array of exotic teas and flavorful coffees, and follow him on a walking tour of China Town and its Fresh Markets. Glenn will explain and point out many of the finest items of the Orient as he selects ingredients for the day's lunch. Once the tour returns to Indigo, Chef Glenn will demonstrate his cooking techniques and serve a sumptuous Eurasian Lunch.
    To finish the day, a tour of the Historic Hawaii Theatre Center is offered. This treasure of the Pacific is located next to the picturesesque restaurant. A knowledgeable docent will give fascinating glimpses into over 75 years of history and highlights of the decoration and architecture.
    This truly memorable day finishes with a special gift from Chef Glenn Chu, a gift basket with one of his renowned Heaven and Earth Bottled Sauces to take home and create some of your own Eurasian magic. Please note: This tour is limited to 20 participants so please register early!

  • Navatek I Royal Sunset Dinner Cruise (16.15 - 20.30; depart hotel). The Navatek I is a SWATH (Small Waterplane Area Twin Hull) vessel - the only SWATH cruise ship in the world. Its patented design allows the Navatek I to deliver an extremely smooth and stable ride. It can comfortably cruise the deep waters off Hawaii's famed "Gold Coast" as it sails past Diamond Head and Kahala to Koko Head. A sumptuous 4-course dinner features lobster and beef tenderloin, accompanied by a selection of champagne, wine, beer, exotic Island drinks, and soft drinks. Included with your dinner are three cocktails or beverages of your choice.   • Hawaii and Its Past Tour (08.30 - 12.30; from hotel). Enjoy a enlightening journey back into history as you visit three very special places. The tour begins at the Queen Emma's Summer Palace, the Mountain home of Hawaii's Queen Emina, wife of King Kamehameha IV. The retreat is preserved in a charming Hawaiian-Victorian setting.
    Your next stop will be at the Bishop Museum. A visit here will make your trip to the islands more understandable and more enjoyable. Exhibits on the three floors of Hawaiian Hall explore the cultural history of Hawaii. Today, Bishop Museum is recognized as the principal museum of the Pacific and one of the world's leading scientific and historical institutions.
    Our last stop will be at the Maritime Center along the waterfront of Honolulu Harbor. The thrilling story of Hawaii's seafaring heritage, spanning almost two thousand years and countless adventures, is told in dozens of exciting exhibits and fun displays.

  • Grand Circle Island/Waimea Falls Park Tour (08.15 - 16.45; from hotel). This all-day tour covers 120 miles of Oahu's best sightseeing attractions. Your island trek begins with a tour of worldfamous Diamond Head Crater, then continues to Hanauma Bay Marine Preserve, an open sanctuary filled with an abundance of Hawaii's precious marine life. Continue on to see Hawaii's own Old Faithful, the Blow Hole, and the spectacular Pali Lookout for a breathtaking view of the Island's quiet windward coastline.
    Your land cruise takes you to some of the most famous surfing spots in the world along the North Shore - Waimea Bay, Sunset Beach, and the spectacular Banzai Pipeline. FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 15
  • Four-night Post Convention Tour to Maui and Hawaii.
     
    Day One: Fly to Maui and enjoy a guided tour through the beautiful lao Valley, known as the "little Yosemite of Hawaii." Your next stop will be the old whaling village of Lahaina for lunch on your own and time to stroll through the waterfront shops. Your overnight accommodations are at the Royal Lahaina Resort on Kaariapali Beach.
     
    Day Two: Free during the day. This evening, enjoy the Royal Lahairia's Luau Dinner and Polynesian Review.

    Day Three: Fly to Hawaii's Big Island. Your tour begins at the beautiful Maka Falls, then on to Volcanos National Park to see Kilauca Crater. Enjoy lunch at the Volcano House prior to your cross-island travel to Kona, where you will check in at the Outrigger Waikoloa Hotel.
     
    Day Four: This morning you journey south to Honaunau to the "City of Refuge," an ancient Hawaiian sanctuary for pardoned sinners and criminals. Enjoy lunch on your own in Kailua-Kona and free time to shop and explore. Tonight enjoy a Hawaiian Aloha Reception.

    Day Five: After a leisurely morning, a short transfer is provided to Kailua-Kona Airport for your return flight to the mainland and connections to home airports.

    Day Six: Today is free to enjoy the wonderful facilities at the hotel. This evening includes a sumptuous luau buffet and Polynesian review at the historic Kilohana Plantation.
