| Post Conference Tours |

The FIDIC 2007 Singapore Conference organized by FIDIC and ACES-Singapore offers
three exciting post-conference tours. Owing to the need to confirm bookings at a busy time of the year, participants must book and pay for the tours before
15 August 2007. Fees do not include
personal insurance and air travel insurance.
Included
in the participants' and accompanying persons' registrations are the Welcome
Reception, Opening Ceremony and Gala Dinner. Extra
tickets can be purchased for these events before 15 August 2007.
There are also optional events and tours for which tickets must be purchased,
also by 15 August 2007.
Accompanying persons can be registered and paid for online
and using the offline registration
form, where tickets for post-conference tours and optional events, and extra tickets for events
included in the conference and accompanying persons' registrations, can also be
booked and paid for by credit card.

| Malaysia (Malacca) three-days |
Thursday - Saturday, 13 - 15 September 2007
Departs: conference hotels, Thursday, from 08.15
Returns: Singapore, Saturday, 15 September at 17.00
Must be booked and paid for before 15 August 2007.
Price:
Before 15 July 2007: USD 450 per person in a double room (USD 550 per person in a single
room)
Between 15 July 2007 and 15 August 2007: USD 500 per person in a double room
(USD 600 per person in a single
room). Includes: coach, tour guide, half-board from the lunch
on Thursday until the lunch on Saturday, two nights accommodation in
double or single room in a four-star hotels, taxes. Those attending the FIDIC
DBO Contract Launch Seminar should not book this
tour. |
Day 1 |
Singapore - Malacca
Meal: lunch
The tour leaves Singapore at 08.15 for the Malaysia peninsular. After brief formalities, the
tour begins where one enters Malaysia - Johor Bahru, the southern most
city of Malaysia. En route to Malacca, the tour passes through lush rubber and oil palm plantations. After lunch,
there is a tour of the historic city of Malacca, with visits to major attractions
including St Paul's Hill, the renowned Porta De Santiago, Cheng Hoon
Teng Temple and Jonkers Street, also known as antique street. Hotel:

Malacca - Kuala Lumpur
Meals: breakfast and lunch
After breakfast, rejoin the Seremban to Kuala Lumpur highway. The tour of
Kuala Lumpur, a city of charming contrasts, will include the National
Palace, the National Museum, the National Monument (sculptured by the creator of the
Iwo Jima monument in Washington, DC), the National Mosque, the Sultan Abdul Samad Building, the Royal Selangor Club and the Petronas Twin Tower,
the 2nd tallest building in the world. Hotel: Grand Plaza Parkroyal,
Kuala Lumpur. |

Kuala Lumpur - Singapore
Meal: breakfast
Free until departure for Singapore by a coach. On arrival in
Singapore at 17.00, transfer to the main drop-off. |

This morning tour of Kuala Lumpur suburbs will bring participants to the Batu
Caves, reached by a straight flight of 272 steps. In some of the tours other
stops, there will be several opportunities to see how Malaysian handicrafts, batiks and pewter wares are made. The afternoon is
free: participants will be able to shop and enjoy more of Kuala Lumpur's

Leave Singapore from Changi International Airport at 19.00 in the
evening for a short flight to Denpasar International Airport. Transfer
to the hotel, taking in the sights of the bustling city centre.

Day 2 |
Bali
Meal: breakfast
After breakfast, the tour continues to one of the highlights of Bali - Mount Batur, with its semi active volcano,
and Lake Batur. The visit to Kintamani that follows is a very impressive experience.
Being located on a plateau and encircled by mountain views with a wind from Mount
Batur, the Kintamani area offers a very beautiful panorama. The impressive temples at Sebatu and Gunung Kawi Tirtha
and the enchanting rice view of rice terrace at Tegallalang then await. On
returning to the hotel passes by Ubud, the home of famous painters. Hotel:

Bali
Meal: breakfast
The third day is left for participants to enjoy the pleasures that Bali offers. For those who enjoy
the outdoors, soak up the sun on a beach, and spend the rest of the day relaxing by the sea
and taking part in water sports. Alternatively, you may wish to go shopping or
to enjoy a refreshing massage. Hotel: Bali Dynasty. |
