Offers FIDIC Young Participants Reduction
FIDIC introduced in 1999 an additional inducement for young
participants to attend the FIDIC annual conference. All
participants who are 45 years of age, or younger, on the opening day of the Conference are
offered a reduced registration fee for the full conference. The fee will be 60% of the fee
for the full conference paid for at the special "early" rate before
1 July 2001. This reduction applies to all countries.
To obtain this special conference fee:
- For online registration: the young participant then sends proof of age (copy of relevant
page of, e.g., passport or birth certificate) to FIDIC, BP 86, CH-1000 Lausanne 12,
Switzerland (fax: +41-21-653 54 32) by 1 September 2001.
- For registration using a printed form: the young participant then sends the completed
form and proof of age (copy of relevant page of, e.g., passport or birth certificate) to
FIDIC, BP 86, CH-1000 Lausanne 12, Switzerland (fax: +41-21-653 54 32) by 1 September
2001.
LDC Fee Reduction
FIDIC allows a reduction in the annual conference fees to be paid by
three participants
per Member Association in Less Developed Countries (LDCs). This reduction
ranges from 10% to a maximum of 50%, and applies to more than 20 Member Associations.
To obtain the FIDIC LDC fee reduction:
- The national Member Association notifies FIDIC that the participant qualifies for the
LDC reduction (the participant must therefore contact his or her national Member
Association).
- FIDIC then invoices or charges the participant for the reduced registration fee and
other items as per the online registration or the registration form.
