Rates
The hotel accommodation booking form
is only valid for participants at the FIDIC 2007 Singapore Conference (9 - 13 September 2007). The completed form
with payment details should be faxed
(the PDF version available shortly can be completed
and emailed) to

that is responsible for managing hotel bookings in the five
conference hotels.The special conference rates given above are only applicable if the booking is
made through CMA. To benefit from the rates, payment for a one-night deposit must be received before 30
days before the required date, and not later than 7
August
2007. This deposit will be at the rate confirmed by CMA upon making the booking. Subject to availability, this
rate will be given by the conference rates given above and will include taxes
totalling 18%. The one-night deposit guarantee is refunded if the
booking is cancelled before 7 August 2007.
Subject also to availability, the
rates will apply for bookings that start and end before and after the dates of
the conference 9 - 13 September 2007. The organizers do not guarantee that the rates given below are the
most advantageous available. Please write or type information in full, one form for each conference registration.
One Singapore dollar (SGD) = USD 0.66. The rates are the Single occupancy
(one person) or Double occupancy (two persons in the same room); some hotels can accept a third person in the room for
an additional charge. Check-in is
generally at 13.00 - 14.00 and check-out at 12.00.
Cancellations, no-shows and changes
In the event of a no-show or a cancellation,
a cancellation fee equivalent to the one-night deposit to guarantee the
reservation at the rate confirmed on making the
booking will be payable if the cancellation is made after 8 August 2007. As the number of rooms available at the conference rates
is
limited, please book as early as possible. In the case of changes to a
reservation after 7 August 2007, the cancellation fee may apply, although CMA will make every
effort to avoid this.
Payment
Payment of a deposit
equivalent to a one-night stay is required to guarantee a
reservation. Subject to availability, up to 30
days before the required date and not later than 7
August 2007, this will be
at the conference rate, including taxes, otherwise at the rate confirmed for the booking.
In the event of a
no-show or a cancellation after 7 August 2007, a cancellation fee
equivalent to the on-night guarantee deposit will be charged
to the credit card. The rate used will be the rate confirmed on making the booking.
This will be given by the conference rates given
above. Settlement at the hotel on departure is normally by cash or credit card.
A charge of SDG 60 will be made for payment in currencies other
than SGD.
Limousine service
A limousine transfer is available from Changi International Airport to the
conference hotels (SGD 60 per limousine, with a surcharge of SGD 10 for 23.00 to
07.00). Contact CMA for bookings.
